Abstract

"Business Maine: Central & Western" piece reporting that Gov. John Baldacci has named five people to the board of Dirigo Health. The five include the following: Dana Conners of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce; Mary Henderson of Maine Equal Justice Partners; Carl Leinonen of the Maine State Employees Association; Dr. Robert McAfee, a former head of the Maine Medical Association; and Charlene Rydell, a policy advisor to U.S. represenative Tom Allen. The five are subject to review by the Legislature's Health and Human Services Committee, and to confirmation by the state Senate.
