Abstract

"Business Unusual" piece on Seabait Maine LLC in Franklin, the first commercial worm-farming operation in the United States. Owner Peter Cowin said the company is geared toward mass producing sandworms, a popular bait for fishermen on the East Coast and an increasingly sought-after food supply for aquaculture operations around the world. Founded in 2002, the company employs four workers.
