Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece reporting on Jeffrey Cohen, the new owner of Portland's landmark "time and temperature" building at 477 Congress St. Cohen, who wants to highlight the building's architectural details and recreate the grand entranceway, is starting a non-profit historic preservation foundation that will be based in the building. He wants to start a museum dedicated to Portland history and has convinced Maine Preservation to move to the building. With a profile of Cohen, who has specialized in reviving old buildings.
