Maine's increasingly diversified workforce relies more and more on flex time, job shadowing, and flexibility in the work week. Companies like UNUM, Visting Nurse & Hospice, Jackson Brook Institute, and many temporary agencies give employees opportunities to set their own schedules, and find time off is reduced and productivity is improved.
