Abstract
Profile of two Portland executive "headhunters." In 1995, David Perkins moved his executive search business, the Holden Company, to Portland from Massachusetts, and formed a partnership with the Portland management consulting firm Barton & Gingold. Ross Green opened Ross Green & Associates in Portland in 1986. They agree that the money spent up front to hire a search agency is easily outweighed by the quality of employees obtained, especially in today's climate of decreased employee loyalty.
