Abstract

"Next List" piece featuring ten people who are shaping the future of Maine's economy, with a profile of Roger Arsenault, president of Black Mountain of Maine Operating Board in Rumford. Arsenault, 56, was instrumental in convincing the Maine Winter Sports Center to purchase Black Mountain as part of its mission to bring the health and economic benefits of skiing to rural Maine communities. Under Arsenault's direction, the mountain will expand its Nordic and alpine ski programs, build a new lodge and a new chairlift.
