"Focus on Banking and Finance" piece on Carol Sabasteanksi, who founded Lewiston-based FISC Solutions in 1977, a loan servicing, check processing, and commercial statement printing service for a range of businesses. A new law, called Check 21, part of a movement toward digital check processing, will alter her business, which will complete a $2.3 million upgrade of its data imaging system next spring. When data imaging becomes the norm, her reader sorters will become relics of the past.
