Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece noting that Maine Insurance Superintendent Allessandro Iuppa has confirmed that the state is part of an insurance industry price-fixing probe started by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer. Both Connecticut and Massachusetts have announced investigations into sales practices in those states. Iuppa has neither confirmed nor denied a criminal investigation in Maine.
