Abstract

"Racino Watch" piece reporting that representatives of the Penobscot Nation and the Passamaquoddy Tribe recently submitted separate bills to develop slot-machine gambling on or near their reservations. In other racino-related news, Governor John Baldacci signed a bill allowing Penn National Gaming to redact certain information from its applications for gaming licenses. State legislators recently spent a session discussing several new gambling-related laws.
