Abstract

"Business Maine" piece on Craigslist, a San Francisco-based company that hosts classified and community forum websites for most large U.S. cities. Jim Buckmaster, CEO of Craigslist, said the company recently added a statewide Maine list after years of receiving user requests. Maine's Craigslist (www.maine.craigslist.org) is set up with forums for discussing politics, and classified listings for housing and sale items. The website will compete with Augusta-based Uncle Henry's magazine.
