Abstract

Profile of commercial photographer Franklin McMahon of Franklin McMahon Studio in Portland, who won "Best Business Podcast" in the first-ever Podcast Awards, an online competition held in August. McMahon is working on a book based on his "Media Artists Secrets" podcasts, which are uploaded to the Internet as an mp3 file for listeners to play on their computers. His goal is to be both a business expert and a self-help coach. McMahon is still experimenting with the medium and is excited about its growth potential.
