Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on a new law that will require stores to buy a separate license to sell sweet-tasting alcoholic malt beverages, and require those items will be taxed at a higher rate. Opponents say that higher licensing fees will hurt small store owners. The law is an attempt to discourage teen drinking.
