Abstract

In 1991, Shirley Rosen of Maine Job Service formed the Unemployed Professionals Group for victims of downsizing. Today it has 400 members, with 25 to 35 attending most weekly meetings. A similar group, Professionals in Transition, was formed in Augusta. Details.
