Abstract

"Focus: Marketing" piece on the recent redesign of the Portland Museum of Art website. Kristen Levesque, director of marketing and public relations, oversaw the redesign with a focus on providing potential visitors with a reason to return both to the website and to the museum itself. Gary LeBrun and Matt Jacobson-Carroll designed AccessOnline, an educational portion of the site that features interactive arts activities. The redesign also highlights revenue-producing offerings such as facility rental and donation or sponsorship opportunities. With a related article on the development of the new logo for the museum.
