"Focus on Building & Real Estate" commentary piece by David Dargie and Stephen Plunkard, senior vice presidents of Dufresne-Henry of Portland, on potential uses for the Brunswick Naval Air Station (BNAS), which is scheduled for closure. A more innovative use would be to create a sustainable community, certified by the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System and offering housing and small business opportunities.
