Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece with a profile of Leonard Agneta, 42, new director of the Maine Patent Program, a division of the Center for Law and Innovation at the University of Maine School of Law in Portland. The program assists inventors and small businesses with the patent process and works with university faculty to determine whether a discovery is patentable. Three externs from the law school typically stay with the program for two semesters, and Agneta would like to increase that number.
