Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine), who serves on the Senate Finance Committee and who has voted to protect certain small business tax breaks. She added provisions friendly to small business to the Senate version of the defense budget and introduced the Equal Access to Justice Reform Act of 2005, making it easier for small businesses to recover their legal costs when they prevail in lawsuits with the federal government.
