Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on Gov. John Baldacci's proposed repeal of the personal property tax on business equipment, which Baldacci says will bolster the Pine Tree Zone program. Baldacci also said he will be proposing other legislation to spur the economy, including continued state investment in research and development throughout Maine.
