Abstract

North Carolina-based Niemann Capital recently struck redevelopment deals with three Maine municipalities. Augusta will offer Niemann a tax rebate to bring housing and retail to the city's Arsenal complex, a series of historic buildings alongside the Kennebec River. In Waterville, developer Paul Boghossian will partner with Neimann to redevelop the Lockwood mill complex that previously housed the Hathaway shirt factory. And in Brewer, officials have selected Nemann Capital to revive the Eastern Fine Paper mill site with offices, housing, retail and a marina.
