Abstract

"Focus on the Bangor region" piece on Wal-Mart critics who are organizing to defeat a second proposal for a Bangor supercenter. The Bangor Area Citizens for Responsible Development, which earlier helped defeat a supercenter sited near a marsh, is now focused on how the project would affect local traffic and commerce. The new site plan is currently under review by the Bangor Planning Board.
