Abstract

Just a year ago, Humpty Dumpty Potato Chips sales were on a steady decline, and the chips tasted so bad even the sales force wouldn't eat them. Today, they produce Shaw's private-label chips, sell at BJ's stores nationwide, and sold out their offering on the QYC home-shopping network. Gross sales have doubled, the product has diversified, and the company has grown from 100 to 130 employees. Humpty Dumpty is New England's only potato chip manufacturer.
