Abstract

"Business Maine: Southern" piece reporting that the city of Biddeford recently sold an undeveloped lot it its Thacher Brook Business Park for below market value in hopes of spurring job creation. Bangor-based CMI Inc. purchased the lot for $57,00 and plans to build a 12,000-square-foot office building and create a miniumum of 24 jobs and $1.5 million in taxable revenue.
