Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece on Dana Mosher, the new executive director of the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce, who says his first mission is to change the perception that the chamber isn't responsive to businesses. The Belfast chamber has been without a full-time executive director for most of the past decade, creating a need for Mosher to develop a strategic plan for the chamber. Mosher plans to promote more regional cooperation between business groups in marketing the midcoast. The Belfast chamber will host a national boat builder's challenge next summer to boost the profile of the city and bring in tourist revenue.
