Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece reporting that the state started the budget year with revenues below estimates by $8.2 million. Concern that the national economy could cause Maine serious revenue problems later this year has lawmakers like Sen. Karl Turner, R-Cumberland, looking for savings wherever possible. With comments by Rebecca Wyke, commissioner of the Department of Administrative and Financial Services; Rep.
