Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece with a profile of Jim Phipps, who is leaving his position as longtime partner at Preti Flaherty in Portland to become the new president and CEO of The Iris Network, a Portland nonprofit that provides services to people who are blind or visually impaired. Phipps has been blind since birth and will put his experience on nonprofit fundraising initiatives to work to boost the network's funding and help implement its latest strategic plan.
