Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the University of Maine System's collaboration with the state's ConnectME Authority to find ways to maximize the uses of UMS's ITV system to provide access to Mainers. The study was prompted by UMS's decision to take advantage of a Federal Trade Communications Commission decision to improve its instructional TV service by switching from analog to digital transmission.
