Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece with a profile of Bob Baldacci, who recently launched his own development firm, The Baldacci Group, based in Portland. After years at larger firms such as Ocean Properties, Baldacci plans to focus on acquiring and redeveloping existing properties rather than building from scratch. In addition to The Baldacci Group, Baldacci also has a side project, BCC Group, with partners George Campbell, a former Portland mayor and David Cohan, a local real estate developer. The group is evaluating projects in the Gulf coast, the Caribbean and New England. Baldacci, 55, is the brother of Maine Gov. John Baldacci.
