Abstract

The Maine Association of Nonprofits on May 8 presented its second annual Dirigo Awards for Nonprofit Excellence to three Maine nonprofits that exemplify sound management practices and ingenuity in adapting to today's difficult funding environment. With brief profiles of the winners: Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice in Lewiston, Tedford Housing in Brunswick, and Gibbs Library in Washington.
