Abstract

"The Third Sector" piece on collaborative efforts among Maine nonprofits, such as the Portland North Land Trust Collaborative, which have attained new urgency in the declining economy. A meeting between the Maine Department of Health and Human Services Office of Child and Family Services and representatives from schools, the correctional system, health care, and child care spawned four regional collaboratives.
