"Focus on Banking & Finance" piece on David Clough, state director for the National Federation of Independent Businesses, who says he is seeing more cases like that of Jim Picariello, owner of Wise Acre Frozen Treats in Blue Hill. Several lawyers offer advice on being proactive and trying to negotiate a work-out before filing for bankruptcy. With statistics on bankruptcy filings in Maine from 2002-2008.
