Abstract

The bankruptcy woes of Chrysler and General Motors will affect the handful of Maine auto dealers whose contracts with the companies are being terminated. Maine's auto sales industry employs 6,000 people at 131 dealerships and generates 20 percent of the state's sales tax. With comments by several of the affected dealers.
