Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the expansion of the Pine Tree Economic Development Zone, which for the calendar year 2009 will include the entire state, in order to encourage development during the recession. In 2010, a two-tiered system will take effect, offering a longer benefit period for businesses in more economically challenged areas.
