Abstract
"Newsworthy" piece on Maine Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, co-founded by Ezekiel Callanan and another recent graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. The organization was formed to provide legal and educational services to Maine artists with limited financial resources, connecting them with attorneys who will do pro bono work. Maine VLA hopes eventually to offer services inhouse from their Portland-area office.
