Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on how lawmakers are working against a constitutional deadline that limits what they can pass after citizen-initiated bills are presented. The Legislature is looking into changes to the law allowing a casino in Oxford County before groups supporting other casino projects file petitions forcing consideration of their proposals.
