Abstract

The new Worker Rights Board of Eastern Maine was formed as a result of meetings between Bangor community leaders starting in 2009. The board is comprised of a diverse group of Bangor-area professionals, including church leaders and business owners, and their mission is "To provide a community forum to legitimize workers' voices and to help remedy workplace injustices."
