Abstract

"Beyond Our Borders" piece on how Maine companies can benefit from doing business in Canada. The Canadian dollar is strong and Canada's economy seems to have weathered the recession better than many other countries. Canada is Maine's top investing country and over $2.7 billion of bilateral trade takes place between Maine and Canada per year. Maine companies should make the most of their geographic location to become suppliers of services and goods to projects in eastern Canada.
