Abstract
"Capitol Update" piece on a projected revenue shortfall for the Children's Developmental Services program, which supervises case management and direct services for children from infancy to age five with a variety of needs. Although the CDC underwent a major restructuring beginning in July 2010 that has reduced overhead, federal funding for the mandated program has been cut due to Medicaid changes. The amount of the expected shortfall will be difficult to estimate until the end of the budget year's first quarter.
