Abstract

"By the Numbers" piece on Maine's largest aquaculture leases, ranked by total acres leased as of June 2011. The five largest aquaculture leases out of the 10 listed are, in descending order: Phoenix Salmon U.S. Inc. in Eastport, Cobscook Bay Salmon in Eastport, Atlantic Salmon of Maine LLC in Machiasport, Ralph Smith in Jonesport, and Great Eastern Mussel Farms Inc. in Tenants Harbor.
