Abstract

"Focus Law" interview with Dennis Haszko, an Eaton Peabody patent agent, about the impact of September's patent law reforms on Mainers involved with intellectual property. The new Leahy-Smith America Invents Act includes changes such as expedited patent application processing and an expanded role for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and awards patents to the first person who files an application instead of awarding a patent to the first person who creates an invention.
