Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the status of state revenues for the first six months of the budget year. Both sales tax and individual income tax revenues are slightly above projections but sales tax revenues could be impacted negatively if energy costs continue to rise. Revenues from fines, penalties and cigarettes and tobacco are significantly below estimates.
