Abstract

The Maine Manufacturing Extension Partnership is offering a new job training program called Mobile Outreach Skills Training that utilizes a mobile high-tech classroom to train unemployed workers in skills needed by local manufacturers. The M.O.S.T. program, used successfully through the country, aims to work directly with people who are interested in manufacturing jobs but need additional specialized training and with manufacturing companies seeking skilled workers.
