Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the Legislature's passage of the first of what will likely be three budget bills this legislative session. This first bill will cover Medicaid costs through the end of the fiscal year in June. Additional bills will need to address coverage of Medicaid costs for the second year of the two-year budget and non-Medicaid payments due this year now that revenue projections have been scaled back.
