Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on Gov. LePage's plan to completely eliminate Maine's personal income tax by the time he leaves office. Incremental steps along the way have been the lowering of the top income tax rate and his new proposal to end taxation of pension income. Half of Maine's expected revenue for this year will come from personal income taxes.
