Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on cost-saving changes to MaineCare that have been approved by the state legislature, but not yet by the federal government. MaineCare expenditures are exceeding their budget, in part due to the fact that the state's share of the cost of the program has increased significantly, while contributions by the federal government have gone down.
