Abstract

Piece on Pika Energy LLC, a Gorham-based company that is seeking ways to bring wind power to homeowners with the manufacture of its T701 home wind turbine. The company is also working on a microgrid system called Rebus that creates a hybrid system of wind and solar energy. Pika not only wants to keep the costs of energy down for homeowners, it also aims at zero waste in the manufacturing process.
