Abstract

"Women to Watch" piece on Dr. Barbara Slager, president of Coastal Women's Healthcare, Scarborough, and Beverly Neugebauer, executive director. In heading up the independent, doctor-owned practice, the women place the practice's patients at the top of the organizational chart. They have used techonolgy to improve patient care, earning accolades for their adoption of a fully electronic health records system.
