Abstract

"Focus Greater Bangor" piece on The Maine Jump, a Bangor-based bounce-house business that was purchased by Ryan and Kristen Hatch in 2011 after it had failed under its previous owner. The business brought in just under $1 million in 2012 and the Hatches are now negotiating franchise agreements in Vermont, New York, and Texas. The couple struggles with maintaining a good work/life balance, but are pleased with the fact that they can provide for their family and create jobs in the Bangor area where they were both raised.
