“Focus Small Business” piece on Maine Community Health Options, a Lewiston-based member-owned cooperative health insurer. The company, which aims to provide a different model of health insurance, has had great success, enrolling over 37,000 members. The article looks at how co-ops were included in the Affordable Care Act and how co-ops fared in New England.
