Abstract

“Focus: Banking & Finance” piece looks at Unity College and its move to remove all fossil fuel-related companies from its investment portfolio. Fossil fuel divestment is a new phenomenon that is being embraced by some colleges and universities as well as municipalities. Includes a brief look at one Maine student at Harvard, Chloe Maxmin, who is leading a grassroots effort to convince Harvard to divest fossil fuel stocks from its endowment.
