Abstract

Fourteen buildings, that have achieved Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, are listed. They are ranked by LEED certification level (Platinum, Gold) and gross square feet. The top five are TD Bank - Auburn Call Center, Bigelow Lab for Ocean Sciences-Phase I, Hannford - Augusta store, Elm Terrace of Children's Hospital Housing Partners, Ltd. in Portland, and the Borsage Family Education Center at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. All of the top five achieved Platinum status.
